I am a writer, photographer, and designer currently located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
After earning my undergraduate degree in film and media studies at the University of Virginia in 2006, I began a career in marketing and communications. Since then, I have helped launch and manage a successful experimental film screening series, worked in book design for a major publishing house in New York, served as a collaborative fellow at UnionDocs Center for Documentary Art, and wrangled puppies at the local SPCA, among other endeavors. I currently work as the Assistant Director of the Virginia Center for the Book and spend my free time writing, reading, and traveling with my dog, Ekhi.
